Yesterday we went to Xino's for the first time for the Christmas menu. In addition to the usual reservation confirmations, we received a call in advance asking us to come 15 minutes early for a Christmas aperitif. We were on time, the restaurant was already busy and we waited 20 minutes before we could order. Christmas aperitif not available. We were able to order our aperitifs normally. We wanted to drink a bottle of wine with the menu and asked the waiter for a recommendation for a bottle of white wine. Our default, dry, heavy, preferably from Mallorca, like to drink Chardonnay. First the waiter came with a bottle of red wine. We were just able to prevent the bottle from being opened. Afterwards we were given a Chardonnay, an expensive fake that didn't fit the menu at all. To no aisle. We were very disappointed. The food was good, it's a great location - but the service doesn't live up to the restaurant's standards, at least at Christmas.

We were there on Christmas Day with a small group. The food was good, but the service was as inattentive as we have ever experienced in Mallorca. It's a shame for the good chefs 😳 the gluten-free bread we ordered came after 40 minutes after asking 5 times 😢 Taking the order itself also took 20 minutes until a waiter came.

When I'm in Mallorca, this is the only shop I go to. I tend to have lunch there. For the price and quality it's unbeatable.
